1st  Place

2nd Place - $200

3rd Place - $150            (No Entry Fee)   
4th Place - $100
5th Place - $  50 

Additionally the top 10 & ties will receive a free entry into the two (2) Day NTRA/DRF Qualifying Contest to be held May 31 & June 1, 2008.  
                

RULES:

  1. All Contestants must register prior to the Fairgrounds 1st race Post Time. (Approx 12:30 PM)
  2. Select one (1) horse per race on the Fairgrounds March 8, 2008 Saturday Race Card.
  3. All contestants will receive a mythical bankroll of which to bet $2 to Win & Place on each race.
  4. You MUST wager on every race on the card.
  5. All Contestants must make their selections through the designated teller contest wagers area.
  6. Contestants may make all of their wagers at once or prior to the post time of each race.
  7. Please identify your contest number to the teller and check your ticket to verify your number.
  8. Please save all of your receipts in case a dispute arises.
  9. Points will be awarded based on the actual $2 win and $2 place mutuel payoff price for picking a horse that finishes first or second.
  10. There will be a maximum point cap on the win price of 20:1 and the place price of 10:1. (i.e. $42 maximum payoff for the win and $22 maximum payoff for the place).
  11. In case of a total point tie the contestants will split the prize money. (i.e. if 2 contestants tie for 1st place you would total the prize money for 1st & 2nd places ($600) and split the prize money equally between the 2 contestants ($300.00 each).
  12. All selections must be made by the entrant and submitted by the entrant.
  13. Program numbers must be used for all selections. Entries and fields go as a single wagering interest.
  14. If your selection is scratched you may cancel your ticket and make a new selection time permitting otherwise you will receive the post time favorite.
  15. One entry per person. Multiple entries will result in immediate disqualification.
  16. You must be 21 years of age by January 22, 2009 to be eligible to play in the NTRA/DRF Qualifier however you may play for prize money only if you are over 19 years old.
  17. No Entry Fee
  18. Employees of Horsemen's Park and their immediate family members will not be eligible.
  19. Each player agrees to abide by all the published tournament rules. In the event of a dispute, Horsemen's Park will render a decision and the decision of Horsemens Park’ management is final.
