| This will be a 2 day contest paralleling the 2009 NTRA/DRF National Handicapping Contest. Horsemen's Park will hold a series of Free Handicapping Contests on 3/1/08, 3/8/08, 3/22/08, 3/29/08, 4/5/08, 4/12/08, 4/19/08, 5/10/08 & 5/24/08 where the top 10 finishers and ties in each contest will receive a free entry into Horsemen's Parks DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Contest qualifier to be held on Saturday & Sunday, 5/31/08 & 6/1/08. There will be a $250 buy-in fee for the NTRA/DRF Qualifying Contest for those who have not previously qualified through one of the prior contests. The contest will limited to two entries per person. The format for the 2 day Contest will be just like the 2009 NTRA/DRF National contest. Each contestant will have 8 mandatory races and 7 optional races each day. The contestants will bet a mythical $2 to Win & Place on each of their selections. Prize money will be awarded for the contestants that have accumulated the highest earnings/points each day. Earnings will be based on the mutuel payoffs and will be capped at 20/1 ($42) to win and 10/1 ($22) to place. The top 2 finishers who have a the highest two (2) day total earnings will receive a free entry to the 2009 Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship. This contest qualifies two (2) persons for the 2009 DRF/NTRA Handicapping Contest. Prize money will be awarded based on the number of entries. (Entry Blank) |
